| Detailed Narrative Description of Project: The purpose of this Project was to assist ADB in the design of the Special Assistance Loan and preparation of the related Appraisal Report. This required the assessment of the soundness and viability of key financial sector institutions in the country. |

| Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Company: To complete the project, Vas undertook the following activities:-met with the National Bank to discuss the commercial banking and foreign exchange operations of Kazakhstan and attended the foreign currency auctions at the Kazakhstan Interbank Currency Exchange. Had several meetings with senior and middle management of twenty commercial banks. Obtained their management reports and financial statements to assess financial viability. In the final report, proposed and designed the disbursement system for ADB’s interface with the commercial banks and recommended a short list of commercial Banks to be utilized by the Bank for this purpose in Kazakhstan.
